 Being randomly logged out.
I've found that even when I click "log me in automatically", I'll be logged out after a period of time when browsing the forum. When I go back to the index page, the website states that I'm still logged in.
To try to find out some reasons for this within my own browser, I cleared all browsing data, including cookies. I refreshed the page, and the forum still thought I was logged on, even though I had most certainly been logged off earlier for no apparent reason.
I know it happens on a couple of other forums, but I've never been booted and had the online list still say that I'm still online before, so I thought I better notify you of it.

 Re: Being randomly logged out.
I have a question for you. Quote: I know it happens on a couple of other forums, but I've never been booted and had the online list still say that I'm still online before, so I thought I better notify you of it. How long after you have logged out / been booted, does it say that you are still online? Some forums have a minute increments that they will say the activity is for, it'll say something like "based on users active over the past 5 minutes." That increment can actually be adjusted to say longer or shorter times. Also, some forums will have a section that shows everyone that logged in that day, but won't show who is actively logged in, unless you are logged it. So just wanted to point some of those things out to you. I hope you other issue gets fixed with the booting...I think that has to do with something in regards to cookie acceptance, but I can't remember right now (I just got up.)

 Re: Being randomly logged out.
I get randomly logged out on here (and other sites, mainly OKC) as well. Clodaus on OKC said it's some kind of cookie thing, so I assume it's the same deal here as well.

Yeah I have this happen sometimes also... usually only after I've cleared my history and cookies though. :s
I don't really have a "why" for you on this one, Sera pretty much is the closest dead-on we've got. So far, I haven't been randomly logged out of this forum. X_x

x_x Alright-y, then. It's probably just the same old problem, then, despite the online users thing, because I didn't know any of the things that Zimmerchild pointed out (I'm pretty bad with forums, hah). Also, Zimmerchild, I don't know how long I've waited - I don't check the time often when I'm on the computer.

It's more then likely a cookie acceptance issue. I don't remember how to fix it though. *shame on me, for not keeping up on this*
